8 Days Lemosho Route

OVERVIEW

The 8-day Lemosho Route is a favorite for climbers seeking a scenic, less-crowded path with one of the highest success rates on Mount Kilimanjaro. The route begins on the remote western side of the mountain, winding through lush rainforests, rolling moorlands, alpine deserts, and glacial valleys before reaching the summit at Uhuru Peak (5,895m).

This extended itinerary includes an extra acclimatization day, giving your body more time to adjust to the altitude — making it safer and increasing your chances of a successful summit. Ideal for adventurers who want to enjoy the mountain’s diverse landscapes while prioritizing safety and gradual elevation gain.
