7 Days Lemosho Route
OVERVIEW
The Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and highly recommended trails on Mount Kilimanjaro. Known for its panoramic views, low traffic, and excellent acclimatization profile, this 7-day itinerary offers climbers a high success rate to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m) — the Roof of Africa.
Beginning on the western side of the mountain, the Lemosho Route passes through lush rainforests, expansive moorlands, dramatic valleys, and alpine deserts before joining the Machame Route near Lava Tower. The route offers a quieter and more peaceful climb during the early days and increases your chances of summit success thanks to its “climb high, sleep low” approach.
This 7-day trek is designed for adventurers with a reasonable fitness level who want a more scenic and gradual ascent to the summit. It’s the perfect choice for climbers looking to combine natural beauty, solitude, and a safe climb with proper altitude adjustmen
