Day 1: Arrive in Zanzibar Day
You will arrive at Zanzibar airport or harbor where you will meet with our representative and then be transferred to the Hotel. Enjoy your first night in Zanzibar
Day 2: FUMBA VILLAGE
Beginning at 8:30 am you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Fumba Village where you will meet for your special Guided Safari Blue Boat Tour. You will visit different sand banks and you stop on one of those for a Seafood lunch where afterward you can snorkel, or just sit back and relax and hope to see a dolphin. Afterward, you will be taken back to your hotel where you will enjoy a nice dinner.
Day 3: Spice farm
After breakfast, you will be picked up at 9:30am and taken to a spice farm where you can see all of the local different types of spice and learn how they are grown. You will be overwhelmed by the abundance of botanical species growing in these gardens – exotic spices, fruits and vegetables. Many of the spices have medicinal properties and are still used by the local population to cure certain maladies. Taste a variety of fruits ranging from the rose apple to the guava. Lunch will be provided at the spice farm and afterward, we will take a tour of Stone Town, where you will learn about the amazing history of Zanzibar.
Day 4: Prison Island
Wake up to an amazing breakfast before being collected from your hotel. Today, we will take a tour of the Prison Island. Starting at 9am we will venture out and spend the first part of the day watching Giant Turtles and other beautiful marine creatures. Known as the best site to snorkel, jump in the clear blue ocean and go snorkel the coral reef. Once on the island, you will have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises, some of which are over a hundred years old.
Afterwards, the marine featured day will take you to the local natural aquarium where you will be able to get up close and personal and swim with the sea turtles. After all of this, it will be time to head back to the hotel for dinner and to enjoy the evening.
Day 5: Departure
Afterwards your breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel around 8 a.m. Your final day in Zanzibar will consist of a half-day tour before being taken back to the airport.
